What is motivation!

As I googled; I found motivation as the word derived from the word 'motive' which means needs, desires, wants or drives within the individuals!

It is the process of stimulating people to actions to accomplish the goals!

In the work goal context the psychological factors stimulating the people's behaviour can be - desire for money.

My motivation for work is the intense desire to achieve something! How far I have succeeded in that is another question! It's the motivating factor still!

Do we get overwhelmed by work and get burnt-out! Burnout is a state of emotional, physical, and mental exhaustion caused by excessive and prolonged stress!

Burnout occurs when you feel overwhelmed, emotionally drained, and unable to meet constant demands. ... Eventually, you may feel like you have nothing more to give!

Burnout is something that everyone experiences; there's no denying the fact! If someone is denying, that guy is pretending!

How to balance life; burnout takes a heavy emotional and physical toll! Shall we stop at a point where we feel that the burnout thing has started and let's get out of the work or whatever we are doing at that point of time to advert burnout! But that may not be the option ☺️ The only thing that we can do is to train our mind not to succumb to this burnout and getting overwhelmed by work or stress associated with something that is keeping our mind busy at that point of mind!

Training our mind to be strong and resilient on the face of something of crisis proportion is the best way to achieve something in a highly physically, emotionally demanding and stressful situation! Remember, this world is unforgiving and our life for that matter! Demand to do something or achieve something is ever-present! If we blackout, we blackout forever! someone else is ready to take our place! No soothing words! The harsh reality 🙂 of life! Everyone experiences, but most of them deny!

We don't like something which we find uninspiring! Inspiration is subjective and that's my assumption while I write this! No soothing words, no you can do it slogan!! That's what we love to hate! But seeking inspiration from someone's struggle is the key! We struggle in our daily lives, from learning alphabets to numbers to anything you can think of!

Yes, the burnout factor; make a balance between what’s meaningful and what’s manageable! Remember, the demand for more is constant and you’ve got to keep a balance to move forward! And no-one better than you knows it! Because it’s you and you can do it how much motivational I may sound or Adam Grant for that matters 🙂
